Building YOUR Site

ImageBefore you start, you'll want to take some time and think about what it is that you want your website to do. You should have a good idea of what the purpose of your site will be.

Will you want to sell products or do you want to write a personal blog?  Are there any features that you want your website to offer your members, customers, or visitors?

Once you have a good idea of what you want your site to do, it's time for an initial consultation.

Initial Consultation

Our initial consultation is free, and can be done over the phone, in person, or by email. To make the meeting as productive as possible, you should “bring” the following:

  • Your business logo or other artwork or ideas to help us in the design of your site.  We want the site to be uniquely yours, so this is very important!

  • Your current domain (www.something.com) or an idea of what you'd like your website name to be.

  • Your current hosting provider information.

  • The main purpose of your website (e-commerce, informational, etc.) and what you would like it to include. For instance, do you  need to sell products, or would you like to show video clips of your dog to your friends, etc.

  • Any features you want your website to have, such as calendars, forums, newsletters, etc.

During our initial consultation we will determine your needs and expectations from your website and gather enough information to create an initial draft of your site.

We will also give you an overview of what to expect and discuss potential design options and what you would like your role to be in the development process of your site.
